King’s Cupboard will be closed November 23 & 24 for Thanksgiving. In December, our facility (including manufacturing and offices) will be closed from December 22nd through January 2nd, inclusive. Offices re-open on January 3rd for customer service, order entry and small parcel shipping. Manufacturing operations will resume on January 8th.
We wrapped up another busy 3-day Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco on Tuesday, 24th. Despite the relentless rain outside, the isles were full of trend-seeking buyers, from all across the country and there were thousands of new specialty food products available for sampling.
As usual, our booth was busy with new visitors and long-time customers alike, all wanting to sample our caramel and chocolate sauces. There was strong interest in our Organic and non-GMO flavors, and everyone raved about our new, SOFI Gold Award-winning Salted Caramelized Fig Spread. We had a beta version of a Vegan Caramel Sauce that was incredibly popular with the masses.
I packed up the pallet and sent it home on Tuesday night and headed home to rest and recuperate. I’m always happy to visit San Francisco where I lived when I was younger, but I’m always, much happier to return home to our quiet little mountain town.
King's Cupboard made the decision to disband our dry mixes earlier this year, and we are sorry to the many who loved and enjoyed them so very much.
All Hot Chocolate Mixes, Brownie Mix, Cake Mix, Puddings, and Mousse Mixes.
As a company we have decided to dial in on our Sauces. As a result this has paid off with our newest Specialty Food Association Sofi Award winner, Non-GMO Project Verified Salted Caramelized Fig Spread.
For the despairing Hot Chocolate lovers out there, we suggest going a little "Old School" by taking your favored King's Cupboard Chocolate sauce, warming it slightly, then adding it to warmed milk, and mixing the two together for a rich creamy drink.
Also, be sure to visit our Pinterest Board for more ideas and recipes to use/substitute our product in.
Till next time,
Your friends at King's Cupboard.
