We wrapped up another busy 3-day Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco on Tuesday, 24th. Despite the relentless rain outside, the isles were full of trend-seeking buyers, from all across the country and there were thousands of new specialty food products available for sampling.
As usual, our booth was busy with new visitors and long-time customers alike, all wanting to sample our caramel and chocolate sauces. There was strong interest in our Organic and non-GMO flavors, and everyone raved about our new, SOFI Gold Award-winning Salted Caramelized Fig Spread. We had a beta version of a Vegan Caramel Sauce that was incredibly popular with the masses.
I packed up the pallet and sent it home on Tuesday night and headed home to rest and recuperate. I’m always happy to visit San Francisco where I lived when I was younger, but I’m always, much happier to return home to our quiet little mountain town.
